The T-34/85 was a Soviet medium tank introduced in early 1944 during World War II. It upgraded the earlier T-34 design by adding a larger three-man turret and a powerful 85 mm ZiS-S-53 main gun. This allowed the Red Army to effectively fight heavy German tanks like the Tiger and Panther.
