General Information

Our stock is stored and shipped directly from our facility on the north side of Brisbane QLD Australia. We ship 99% of all orders within 24 - 48 hours of cleared payment, Monday - Friday (excludes Public Holidays). Once your order has been dispatched you will be emailed the confirmation email that contains a tracking number (if applicable). This number will keep you up to date on your orders movement from http://auspost.com.au/track/.

Dispatch time is usually before 10AM daily. Please note that orders placed in the hour or so before hand may be shipped out the following day.

Domestic Shipping

All orders are dispatched using the Australia Post Parcel service network.

Please note: Acrylic Lacquer paints and glues and cements CANNOT be shipped via Express Post airmail as they are a Class 3 flammable liquid. These items will be sent via Regular Parcel instead.

Express Parcel Post
Next Business Day to metro area's (inc. tracking, *minimum cost = $14.45 AUD for up to 250g in weight) regional area's 1 to 2 business days.

Regular Parcel Post - for acrylic paint/thinners orders only
2 to 6 business days (incl. Tracking, *minimum cost = $10 Flat Rate).

$10 Flat Rate Shipping

Orders must be sent to an Australian address.

All Flat Rate orders are sent via Australia Post Regular Parcel Post. This service includes a tracking number that will be sent once the order is dispatched.

Free Shipping On Orders Over $149AUD

To be eligible for our Free Shipping offer, your order must:

Be delivered to an Australian address.
Be over $149AUD (after discounts/coupons, excluding shipping costs).
Not exceed a total cart weight of 22kg and/or 105cm in length (including individual products).

Orders will be sent via Australia Post Regular Parcel Post. This service includes a tracking number that will be sent out once the order is dispatched.

International Shipping

International shipping is split into Zones. If your country is not listed please contact us to arrange a quote. Hobby Assault offers a Standard Airmail tracked service to ship parcels around the globe. We WILL NOT use Surface/Sea mail unless specifically requested by the customer.

*The shipping calculator at checkout will give you an accurate shipping cost to your location before you finalise your order.

Dangerous Goods

Important Note: Due to Australia Post's 'Dangerous Goods' policy, we are unable to ship the following product types via Air Mail:

1. Lacquer paints including paint sets and oil based washes.

2. Glues and solvents.

This includes all overseas countries and Domestic Express Post.

Import/Customs Fees In Your Country

Important Note: Please also be advised that Hobby Assault is NOT responsible for any customs fees, import duties/tarrifs, or any other fees concerning your shipment once it leaves Australia. The customer is responsible for any incurred charges listed above that are connected with the shipment and delivery of the parcel into their country.
